• Relationship Rescue Couples Therapy

Note: Relationship Rescue sessions often have to be scheduled in advance. Schedule today to minimize your wait!

    What is it?

Rather than struggling for weeks getting by on 50-minute long couples sessions, I offer a 2, 3, or 4-hour experience that will allow you and your partner to heal the relationship and make positive changes in one day.

    Approach

The following is what a relationship rescue session looks like:

    1) I meet with the couple together collect pertinent back ground, create goals, and give them pertinent worksheets and writing-based assignments that we will use in the joint portion of the experience to complete while I meet with their partner. These assignments pull from Gottman, DBT, Imago, the theory of love languages, and behavioral therapy.

    2) Then, I meet with each member of the relationship separately to assess the strengths and growth areas of each individual and the relationship in general. Helping with the writing assignments as needed.

    3) We then meet altogether to use the materials completed separately to commit to changes in the relationship, improve communication, have an in-depth healing conversation about conflicts in the relationship, and connect on a deeper level. For 3 and 4 hour experiences, I will lead you through therapeutic exercises that strengthen bonding. As a professor who has taught sex therapy, I can also assist with a plan to resolve sexual issues.

    4) Follow-up sessions of 50 minutes at $150/session are encouraged to maintain positive changes, resolve additional conflicts, and maintain connection. These may be every 1-4 weeks based on preference and need.

    Fees

A two-hour relationship rescue experience is $300, a three hour session is $400, and a four hour session is $500. Relationship rescue sessions must be paid in advance at the time of scheduling. There is a one-time courtesy reschedule. If the experience is cancelled, the entire fee is forfeited. Rescheduling more than once will result in a $100 fee. Relationship rescue sessions are not covered by insurance. Follow-up sessions may be billed to Aetna or submitted for reimbursement.
