Alex provides therapy and coaching to individuals, couples, triads, and polycules who are experiencing any issues related to polyamory or ethical non-monogamy (ENM) also called consensual non-monogamy (CNM).

My Experience

As someone who has identified as polyamorous since age 17 (yup, I was poly with my first partner ever!) and has continued to practice consistently for the past 8 years, I can provide insight that other therapists and coaches cannot.

My Approach

I teach Imago, DBT, and Gottman principles, and utilize the book and workbook Polysecure by Jessica Fern (among other texts) to help clients feel safe and secure in their relationships. If all parties live in Missouri (where I am licensed) I can provide more in-depth therapy. For those not in Missouri, I can provide coaching, so that I can help those who do not have access to ENM/polyamorous helping professionals in their state or having members of the polycule who live in different states.

Required Materials

All individual clients or members of the polycule who want to be involved in therapy will be asked to buy the Polysecure book and workbook and work through one chapter between each session, discussing each chapter and how it relates personally in each session. Alternative texts are available for us to use in coaching for those who have already completed the polysecure book and workbook.
